Here are a few scenes. I havent drawn them out because I like my ideas developing in a 3d space.

Evaluation part 1

This teaser trailer has been a big challenge. After drawing out my concept ideas for my characters, I was very pleased with them and therefore HAD to make models that represented those concept drawings. In doing so, it has been a rollercoaster of orgasmic joy and extreme anger! The joy bits was the result in the modelling and the anger bits where the rigs and basically 3d max. I figured out that if you dont concentrate hard when using 3d max, you can f*ck it up pretty badly such as collapsing a whole complex stack and then pressing save and shut down the PC thinking youve done it well.

Character Study

Jack
Jack is the lumberjack or hunter that was ordered by the Queen to dispose of Snow White. He has a flirtatious, cheesy, arrogant and cowboy attitude. Jack has an American redneck accent.
He is a muscular character and appears messy. His clothes are nothing but sack cloth. His appearance seems quite thuggish and threatening but he is quite smooth and easy talker.
Jack works on the palace grounds as the ‘caretaker’. He has tried to hook up with the other palace maids but despite his satisfaction of numerous successes, he tries it on with the princess as well. A real playboy bad boy!

Snow White
Snow White is a man’s dream come true. She is incredibly beautiful, innocent looking and, a virgin. She dresses plain for a princess because she has been made a maid by the jealous Queen.
On the outside, she seems sweet and innocent. But on the inside, she’s a sex hungry, shallow minded girl that thinks she can seduce any man (or woman). She even seduced Jack before he tried to kill her. Jack fell for it immediately.
She doesn’t really care about her being a princess or the fact that she has responsibilities. She just wants to be a naughty girl. Snow White seems oblivious to the real world and only sees life through her wishing and fantasising eyes.

QUEEN!!!!!! sexy incredibles lookalike queen!

Queen looks like the incredibles. I used snow whites head model to save time. Changed the hair colour and made a mask.

CS of Jack kissing Snow White. Snow White wakes up, looks at Jack and is confused. Play soundtrack ‘Everyone wants to be the Cowboy’. LS of Jack with his axe. CS of Jacks face. Soundtrack quietens.

Welcome back Snow Flake! Figured if a handsome guy like me gave you the kiss of life, you might just come back to life.

MS of Snow White as she falls in love with Jack.

Scene 4

Fade in.

Int. Dark. Palace dungeon - Day.

WS of wicked stepmother. Show her thinking of new plan. Play soundtrack ‘O Fortuna’

NARRATOR
But what Snow White didn’t know, was that her stepmother was planning something even more evil than before. A dreadful curse to ensure that she can never live happily ever after!


CS of stepmother’s evil laughter.

Fade out.

Scene 5
Int. Hut - Day

Fade in.

MS of Jacks face reacting to the spell but does not reveal what the curse is.

Fade out. Black.

Mood Scenes

Here are a series of tests for mood and atmosphere using lights and shadows. This is necessary for the evil queen.

here is a pic of the finished book scene. A few extras on the table like scrolls, inkwell and a cup makes the atmosphere more complete. Kinda like a scroll writers room.
